The Mason Razavi Quartet welcomes a very special guest to Cafe Pink House - legendary trumpeter Carl Saunders. Join this group for an evening of standards along with tunes by Carl Saunders and Mason Razavi.
Saunders was a member of Stan Kenton's band and plays lead trumpet in Bill Holman's orchestra. Having played with some of the biggest names in jazz such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Maynard Ferguson, Benny Goodman, Saunders also has a discography of 6 records as a leader and is a highly accomplished composer as well.
Saunders is a master clinician and teacher and will be conducting either lessons or a clinic on the day of the concert - stay tuned for details.
