Jazz guitarist and composer/arranger Mason Razavi returns to Art Boutiki with his quartet and nonet to celebrate his 35th birthday by playing selections from the "Quartet Plus" and "Quartet Plus Volume 2" albums and debuting brand new music.
Razavi has been called "a thoughtful player and composer that offers the listener an introspective experience of deeper meaning" (Jazz Times), while his ensemble music features "evocative storytelling" and features "Gil Evans-ish horns" (All About Jazz).
